一、开采现状弓长岭铁矿老岭露天采场于1968年开始小规模开采。1973年扩建设计的第一期开采境界标高为232米,第二期开采境界标高为112米,露天采场封闭口标高为256米。设计的运输公路布置在上盘固定帮,公路呈折返线布置形式。设计年产矿石为80万吨,剥岩为850万吨,采剥总量为430万吨,剥采比为4.4。设计采用2台牙轮钻穿孔,3台4米~3电铲装车,40台T-20型汽车运输。
