培养学生阅读能力,发展学生智力是英语教学的重点。然而师生们在教学中侧重培养阅读能力,很多学生读了许多辅助读物,做了大量阅读理解训练,仍不见阅读理解能力的提高。有时在阅读一篇文章时,即使没有一个生词,没有一点语法障碍,把句子分开看,也句句都看得懂,但就是对文章不能完全正确理解。究其原因,是一些非语言知识的因素,其中主要的是学生的思维能力。
