现代科技的进步在发展社会物质财富的同时造成了生态环境的急剧恶化。面对日益严峻的生态危机,文学界的有识之士以生态批评为武器,既探索生态文学的人文关怀,也从生态的角度对所有文学进行了批评。生态文学作家以强烈的生态责任为己任,以充满情感的笔调表现了科学技术和社会发展造成的严重生态灾难并对此进行了文明批判。本文从生态批评的界定出发,以卡森和福克纳等美国当代作家的作品为例,进行了生态文学的批评和生态文学的批评实践。
The progress of modern science and technology has caused the sharp deterioration of the ecological environment while developing the material wealth of society. Faced with the increasingly serious ecological crisis, people of insight in literary circles take ecological criticism as a weapon, exploring not only the humane care of ecological literature, but also all the literature from an ecological perspective. Eco-literary writers, with their strong ecological responsibilities as their own responsibility, expressed their emotions their serious ecological catastrophe caused by the development of science and technology and social criticism. Starting with the definition of ecocriticism, this paper takes the works of American contemporary writers such as Carson and Faulkner as examples and conducts the criticism of ecocriticism and the critical practice of ecocriticism.
