家庭是社会的基本细胞,构建社会主义和谐社会,首要的任务是建设和谐家庭,这也是古今中外永恒的追求。现代思想政治教育在构建和谐家庭中的作用主要表现在:可以使家庭成员树立“家和万事兴”的信念,自觉地承担起维护家庭和谐的责任;可以化解家庭成员之间的矛盾,促进家庭成员之间的团结与和睦;可以提高家庭成员的精神文明素质和道德水平,使婚姻家庭关系有序地、健康地、可持续地发展。
