笔者在威尔斯的“翻译难度”视角下,以东南大学MTI中心承接的英译汉翻译任务——联合国游客中心宣传册为语料,将SDL Trados机器翻译软件翻译的译本作为参照文本,笔者和资深审校人员审校过的人工翻译译本作为实践文本,对二者进行比较。通过比较,找出参照文本与实践文本的不同之处,并采用“翻译难度”视角对其进行量化分析,确定本宣传册的翻译难点,以提出相应的翻译技巧与策略。
From the perspective of Wells’ “translation difficulty”, the translation mission of English translation into the United Nations Visitor Center (CDC) mission undertaken by Southeast University MTI Center is corpus. The translated version of SDL Trados machine translation software is taken as the reference text, The author and the senior reviewer reviewed the human translation as a practical text, comparing the two. Through the comparison, find out the difference between the reference text and the practical text, and quantify the difficulty of the translation by using the perspective of “difficulty of translation” to determine the translation difficulties of this brochure and put forward corresponding translation skills and strategies.
