语言学习与文化知识的学习密不可分。英语教学更应该注重对学生文化知识的传输,注重培养学生的文化素养,增强其文化意识,提高学生的跨文化交际能力。本文从讨论文化和语言的关系入手,针对英语语言发展过程中形成的文化特点提出适合英语文化教学实践的策略和建议。
Language learning and cultural knowledge are inseparable. English teaching should pay more attention to the transmission of students’ cultural knowledge, focus on cultivating students’ cultural accomplishments, enhancing their cultural awareness and enhancing students’ intercultural communication skills. This article begins with the discussion of the relationship between culture and language and puts forward some strategies and suggestions that are suitable for the practice of English culture teaching according to the cultural characteristics formed in the process of English language development.
