As a product of the combination of modern imaging technology, stereotactic technology, electronic computer technology and artificial intelligence technology, surgical navigation system has been rapidly developed and applied in recent years. This article summarizes the concept and basic principle of surgical navigation system, its development and application in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
