中华人民共和国1954年宪法(简称五四宪法),是新中国第一部社会主义类型的宪法。中国共产党是五四宪法的制定者和执行者,因此,新民主主义的宪政思想及其指导下的宪法性文件,成为五四宪法制定的直接来源。
The 1954 Constitution of the People’s Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as the “May 4th Constitution”) is the first socialist constitution of New China. The Chinese Communist Party is the enactor and executor of the May 4th Constitution. Therefore, the new-democratic constitutionalism and the constitutional documents under its guidance have become the direct sources for the formulation of the May Fourth Constitution.
