草菇性喜高温高湿,其生长期很短,一般自播种到收获只需12～14天,在玉米田套种草菇,技术上需抓好以下几点:一、选好套菇地块。草菇套种在玉米田里,利用玉米茎叶做天然屏障,水分蒸发少且空气流通,可借助盛夏的有利气象因素而获得丰收。因此,套种草菇的田块需平整,浇水方便,而不积水,土质以壤土或粘土为好。周围有大面积玉米田,有利于草菇的生长和发育。二、合理搭配养料。主料可选用新鲜、干燥、无霉变的麦秸、玉米秸或棉籽壳。配料前进行粉碎,然后加入适量的石灰粉进行发酵处理。若用玉米芯做主料,则应粉碎成颗粒状,并用5%的石灰水浸泡24小时后备用。配料时,应取处理好的麦秸粉、棉籽壳、玉米蕊各1/3,再加入辅料豆饼,磷肥、玉米面各2%进行配合。
