党的十八大报告中明确提出,我国要坚定不移地走新型城镇化的发展道路。旅游业因其发展综合性,成为众多贫困地区城镇化发展的动力,而城镇化是旅游业发展的空间依托和保障。推进旅游业与城镇化的产城一体融合发展,对于促进贫困地区的新型城镇化,发展新产业动力,实现旅游业转型升级发展,加快滇西边境贫困地区的建设具有重要的意义。
The 18th National Congress of the Communist Party made it clear in our report that our country should unswervingly follow the path of development of new-type urbanization. Because of its comprehensive development, tourism has become the driving force of urbanization in many poverty-stricken areas. Urbanization is the spatial support and guarantee for tourism development. Promoting integration of tourism and urbanization in the production and urban areas is of great significance for promoting new urbanization in impoverished areas, developing new industries, realizing the transformation, upgrading and development of the tourism industry and accelerating the construction of poverty-stricken areas along the western border of Yunnan.
