戏剧界有一句戏言:编剧的权力最大。意思是说舞台上人物的出、入、生、死,都由他笔下点定。此语只道出其结果,未说透其成因。其实,一部成功的剧作,必然是艺术结构严谨的作品,成功的关键在于人物的塑造。剧中人的出场与否,其命运如何,并非可以随意安排,而是有其必然性。潮剧《陈太爷选婿》目前还只能说是站得住脚,但我已深尝人物安排这一环节的个中滋味。由于史料不多,《陈》剧除了主人公陈仕颖和第二主角郑佐龙二人史册有名外,其余人物都是依据我的“土法”:“可能发生的事情和可能出现的人物”而虚构的。这有一定的难度。难在哪里呢?我的体
