在一些啮齿动物中,松弛素是一种在体内外均能抑制子宫肌层收缩的肽类激素,已证明有降低离体人类子宫肌层自然收缩幅度的作用.在妇女,松弛素是妊娠黄体的产物.最初由发育中胚囊分泌的HCG刺激,使月经周期的黄体继续发育为妊娠黄体,增加了孕激素的分泌,并将松弛索分泌进入外周血清.在妊娠期间,早在预计经期过期未至时,松弛素即在血清中出现.因为松弛素和孕激素都能抑制子宫收缩,而且二者都是早期妊娠黄体的产物,本研究是检查这些作用能否协同地维持子宫静止状态.
