《剧本汇刊》是上海戏剧协社编辑出版的不定期刊物,共出两集。如果我们仔细翻阅一下《剧本汇刊》并把它放在它所存在的特定时空去考察,就会发现《剧本汇刊》在中国现代话剧史上有着自己独特的地位。《剧本汇刊》是独幕剧创作日臻成熟的表现之一,是改译戏剧取得成功的标志,说明多幕剧也开始出现在中国话剧舞台上。《剧本汇刊》还说明,爱美剧时期的剧本创作与演出活动开始初步相结合,话剧这种从西方移植过来的艺术形式,通过戏剧协社的努力,已经开始立足于中国市民社会,并有向职业化方向发展的趋势。
The Drama Magazine is an occasional publication published by Shanghai Theater Association and produced two episodes. If we carefully read the script and put it in a specific space and time it examines, we find that the Script has its own unique position in the history of modern Chinese drama.
