近年来,各地为名人故里之争屡见不鲜。各地争为历史名人考证身世,出巨资修建名人故里等工程。历史名人的“出生”、“葬地”以及“行游之地”等都可能成为某地争“故里之名”的充分理由。近年来,这样的争战此起彼伏,从炎帝故里之争到老子故里之争,再到曹雪芹、诸蔓亮、李白故里之争,再到赵云故里之争,大有你方唱罢我登场的趋势。
