Objective: To understand the degree of lipid peroxidation in the blood of patients with coronary heart disease. Methods: Forty-five elderly patients with coronary heart disease diagnosed by coronary angiography, 42 non-elderly patients with coronary heart disease and 40 control subjects were enrolled in this study. The content of SOD and MDA in the blood of the three groups were measured by colorimetric method and compared. Results: The levels of SOD in blood of elderly patients with coronary heart disease and non-elderly patients with coronary heart disease were 76.7 ± 1 3.1 5 n U / ml and 80.7 ± 1 3.2 4 n U / ml, respectively, 97.8 ± 1 9.83nU / ml low; SOD in elderly patients with coronary heart disease than non-elderly patients with coronary heart disease. While the content of MDA were 5.21 ± 0.83nmol / ml and 4.73 ± 0.74nmol / ml respectively, which was higher than that of the control group (3.47 ± 0.53nmol / ml). The MDA content in blood of elderly patients with coronary heart disease was significantly lower than that of non-elderly patients with coronary heart disease Patients are high. In the patients with unstable angina pectoris, the level of SOD in the blood was 76.1 ± 1 3.1 2 n U / ml, which was lower than that of the stable type 81 3 ± 1 3.0 7n U / ml; while the content of MDA was 5. 180 ± 0.57nmol / ml , More stable 4.0 5 ± 0.62 nmol / ml high. Conclusion: Patients with coronary heart disease, especially in elderly patients with coronary heart disease and unstable angina pectoris patients with increased levels of lipid peroxidation.
