2005年10月22日,7件流失海外数十载的龙门石窟佛教造像,终于回到了它们的诞生地。当日上午10时,文物回归庆典在龙门石窟观景台隆重举行。此次回归的7件文物,包括龙门北魏时期佛头造像1件、唐代佛头造像2件、唐代观音、天王头像及飞天造像各1件,另一件为北魏风格弥勒头像。这批文物长期流失海外,曾分属美籍华人陈哲敬先生和另一位美国收藏家。2004年,
On October 22, 2005, seven Buddhist statues of the Longmen Grottoes, which lost tens of thousands overseas, finally returned to their birthplace. At 10 a.m. on the same day, the cultural relics celebration was held ceremoniously at the Longmen Grottoes viewing platform.
