邓小平作为改革开放新的历史条件下执政党建设新篇章的开启者,他的党员修养思想具有显著的时代特征:思想解放是党员修养的首要前提,党员修养的内容上突出现代性的民主与法制特色,党员修养的路径上强调积极参与改革和现代化建设的实践特色,党员修养方法上的辩证性和继承性,主张坚持政治立场的修养与现代专业知识的修养相结合,坚持党员的率先垂范与外在监督相结合,坚持学习马克思主义与批判错误思想意识相结合。当前,广大党员和干部在自我净化、自我完善、自我革新的过程中,应充分汲取邓小平党性修养思想的历史价值,自觉加强党性修养,不断提高自我,永葆共产党人的政治本色。
