Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan became independent sovereign states upon the dissolution of the Soviet Union. After the proletarian Communist movement was banned, these countries ushered in the mid-1990s with the defeat of the capitalist system The resurgence of communist ideas has also been resumed and the communist party rebuilt. At the same time, some new communist parties have also been created. Since the early 21st century, these countries once again suffered from the crisis of communist ideology. The international and domestic unfavorable conditions for the development of the Communist Party and the problems existing in the Communist parties themselves have caused the number of Communists in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan to plummet and their political influence to plummet. In addition, the communists in these countries, unable to reach a consensus due to some major theoretical and practical problems, are constantly splitting up. In many cases, the communist movement in the Transcaucasia region shows a declining trend.
