1 Introduction In recent years, domestic and foreign language teaching reform has begun to focus on content-based instruction (“CBI”). The purpose of this method is to combine the language teaching itself and the subject knowledge to make the object of language itself instrumental. While improving the language proficiency, this method expands students’ cognitive ability in a certain field and deepens their understanding of subject knowledge. In foreign countries, content-based language teaching methods have gained wide acceptance
