北京体育赛事管理与营销研究基地是依托首都体育学院建立的首批北京市哲学社公科学研究基地之一。体育赛事是体育产业领域中最活跃,最有影响力的一部分。其特有的社会功能和经济功能得到国内外学者和企业的重视,北京已经举办和即将承办很多国际大型体育赛事,特别是2008年奥运会,在提出严峻挑战的同时,也为研究体育赛事经营管理和实践操作。培养体育赛事管理人才提供了绝佳机遇。首都体育学院是位居国内进行专业体育赛事研究和培养体育赛事管理高级人才前列的体育院校,研究基地依托优势,将以深化体育赛事改革、提高体育赛事综合效益、培养专门人才、推动体育事业发展、成功举办2008年奥运会为目标,开展研究工作,举行各种学术活动。北京体育赛事管理与营销研究基地将开展六个方面的研究工作:体育赛事基本理论问题研究;体育赛事的策划原理与方法;体育赛事风险管理研究;体育赛事风险管理研究;体育赛事的营销理论与实践研究;体育赛事志愿者的招聘与培训研究;体育赛事的评定指标与评定方法的研究等。北京体育赛事管理与营销研究基地重点围绕2008年奥运会系列国际体育赛事进行“体育赛事的理论与实际操作的研究”。探索大型体育赛事管理与营销的基本规律和方法。为北京市培养体育赛事管理和营销的专门人才,出高水平学术成果,把研究基地建设成为我国体育赛事管理与营销的人才培养基地;以提供体育赛事信息与咨询为向导,建设成为北京市乃至全国的体育赛事咨询策划中心,为北京市和我国体育产业的发展服务。
