本期刊出一份中华医学会眼科分会几位主委起草的我国实施眼科住院医师培训制度的倡议,从现代医学的特点说起,叙述我国当前医师培训制度中的一些缺陷,谈到实行住院医师培训制度的重要意义,并草拟了实施方案和培训将带来的新局面。我们认为这不单是临床眼科的问题,也是各临床专科共同面临的课题。眼科学分会常委会在1992年起就曾多次讨论学会的职能和任务以及实施住院医师培训制度的必要性和可能性,由于多年实施计划经济体制,单位所有制下的人事制度使培训制度没有可行性。12年后的今天,他们重新提出这一倡议,请各分会同道都来参加讨论,并请卫生行政部门关心这一话题。
