In recent years, marchantins and related compounds from different species of mosses have attracted attention due to their unique phenolic structure and due to their extensive biological activity. This paper reports on 10 kinds of phenolic compounds from bryophytes such as diammine A, diammine B, emodin E, diammonin D, paleatin B, isoriccardin C, riccardin C, perrottetin D, radulanin H and NDGA.
