Objective: To investigate the changes and clinical significance of cellular immune function in patients with cancer. Methods: The distribution of peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets and the activity of natural killer cells (NK cells) in 121 patients with tumor and 110 normal controls were detected by flow cytometry indirect immunofluorescence assay and compared. RESULTS: CD3+, CD4+, and NK cells in peripheral blood T lymphocyte differentiation antigens (differentiated group, CD) were significantly lower in tumor patients than in normal controls (P < 0.05). CD8+ was significantly greater than normal. Elevated (P <0.05), CD4 + / CD8 + ratio was significantly lower than normal (P <0.05). Conclusion: The cellular immune function of cancer patients is seriously impaired; the above indicators can be used as an immune diagnosis and monitoring index of tumors.
