As of the end of 2014, in the 66-year statistical process of New China, 48 national statistical work meetings were held. Undoubtedly, each meeting has had a great impact on statistics. It has its own unique role and more distinctive characteristics of the times. Some are even closely linked with the survival of statistical work, leaving a deep impression in the history of statistics. Based on a comprehensive review of all previous national statistical work conferences, this paper selects the representative conferences from all historical periods and analyzes and evaluates its status and influence in the history of statistics.
