改革开放以来 ,一批批优秀中国年轻人走出国门 ,到中国以外的世界去闯荡 ,他们中的很多人为求在海外的发展备尝艰辛 ,并获得了成功。如今“海外学人”这一名词已不仅是对社会某一人群的指称 ,而且是当今中国与世界接轨、迈向全球化的某种媒介。为了为海外华人在祖国大陆的沟通增加一个管道 ,本刊从 2 0 0 2年第 1期尝试推出“海外学人”新栏目。我们热诚相邀广大海外学人参与到这一栏目中来 ,把您们的学术研究心得 ,以您们在海外的创业奋斗经历写成文章赐寄我们。重在谈自己的切身体验 ,同时附上本人近照一张。本期首推美籍华人俞洪教授在美国的奋斗历程 ,相信这个栏目会为您们在国内找到更多的知音 ,同时也会有更多的年轻学子会从您们的经验经历中获得有益的教益。
Since the reform and opening up, a batch of outstanding Chinese young people have gone abroad to go to battles in other parts of the world. Many of them have made arduous efforts in their overseas development and achieved success. Today, the term “overseas scholars” is not only a reference to a certain group of people in society, but also a medium that China is now integrating with the world and moving towards globalization. In order to provide a channel for overseas Chinese to communicate in the motherland, the magazine has tried to launch a new section entitled “Overseas Scholars” from the first issue in 2002. We sincerely invite a large number of overseas scholars to participate in this section, your academic research experience, with your entrepreneurial experience in overseas writing articles sent to us.
