The aim of this experiment was to confirm the hypothesis that hypoxia changes endothelial barrier function by increasing endothelial permeability and to determine whether prolonged hypoxia leads to a decrease in ELAM-1 or ICAM- ICAM-1) cell membrane changes. Changes in endothelial permeability were detected by endothelium resistance (TEER) and expression of ELAM-1 and ICAM-1 was assessed by flow cytometry. Take umbilical vein (24 hours postpartum
