The report of the 18th CPC meeting has emphasized “implementing intellectual property strategy,and strengthening intellectual property protection”.The economic work meeting of the central government reiterates the protection of intellectual property,and the significance of development via innovation.Now,faced with the changeable situation both at home and abroad,we must stick to the orientation of requirement of social and economic development,and the core of applying patent systems and patent resources,so as to further stimulate the innovative vitality of the innovative subjects,thus providing strong support for the development of economic society.In recent years,the import and export of mechanical and electronic products account for 60％ of the total amount,being the first major type for many years.To speed up the implementation of intellectual property strategy and to promote the industry transformation of mechanical and electronic products in China are of vital significance for the healthy and sustainable development of economy in China.Therefore,our journal has interviewed Dr.Li Yuguang,Vice Director of the State Intellectual Property Office of P.R.C,who is attending the opening ceremony of the Workshop of Intellectual Property of State Intellectual Property Office in Chongqing University of Technology.
