作者在认真总结首届新编县志篇目设计的经验和不足的基础上 ,提出续志篇目要正确处理继承与创新的辩证关系 ,不能背离“志体”去标新立异 ;提出要继续坚持按科学分类和社会分工相结合的划分门类标准 ,要正确把握和突出时代特点与地方特点 ,要加强经济基础设施建设的记述等观点 ;同时对如何正确选择篇体形式、提级升格以及如何正确处理某些类目的精减与增设等问题 ,都提出自己独到的见解。
