一级学科评估虽然给出了公共管理学科的具体排名,但对实质性理解学科学术地位和产出差异帮助有限。本文从“类”的角度研究学科产出绩效,以期为学科发展提供分类参考。文章基于CSSCI期刊数据,在论文数、引用数、h指数和顶级期刊论文四项指标基础上,采用主成分聚类方法,对48所公管学院的产出水平进行分析。研究表明,我国公共管理学科产出存在明显差异,可分为三类五亚型,分类结果与学科地位、学校特征有关。第一类为领先型,由新兴崛起的理工科顶级院校和政治学、行政学取向的文科传统强校组成,产出指标集中度较高;第二类为成长型,主要由“985”和“211”高校组成,有一定学科实力,但发展不平衡;第三类为落后型,主要由区域性和行业性“211”、非“211”高校组成,学科基础较薄弱。
While a subject assessment gives a specific ranking of public administration disciplines, it is of limited help in substantively understanding academic status and output differentials. This paper studies the output performance of disciplines from the perspective of “category ”, in order to provide a classification reference for the development of disciplines. Based on the data of CSSCI periodicals, the paper uses principal component clustering method to analyze the output level of 48 public administration colleges based on the four indexes of the number of papers, citations, h index and the top journals. The results show that there are obvious differences in the output of public management disciplines in our country, which can be divided into three types and five subtypes. The classification results are related to the status of subjects and the characteristics of schools. The first category is the leading type, which is composed of the emerging top universities of science and engineering and the traditional liberal arts schools with political science and administrative science orientation. The output indicators are highly concentrated. The second type is the growth type mainly composed of “985 The third category is backward type, mainly composed of regional and industrial ”211 “, non ”211 " colleges and universities, Disciplinary basis is weak.
