老字号不仅是质量公认的同义词,更是被视为传承传统文化的重要载体。北京、上海、浙江江苏、广东等地,均分布有老字号。一定程度上来说老字号也为当地经济提供了巨大的支撑。中国品牌研究院的调查显示,中华老字号企业在建国初有16000家左右,而商务部2006年认定的第一批中华老字号企业仅有434家,相当于建国初期的2.7%。有人认为这是老字号的衰落。是不是衰落可以商榷,不过,从数量上来看,
