城市园林机械化是园林现代化的重要组成部分,也是城市现代化的标志之一。新中国成立以来,随着城市园林绿化事业的蓬勃发展,各地园林科技干部和技术工人共同研制和生产了用于园林绿化建设的各类专用机具,如剪草坪机、高射程喷雾器、大树高枝修剪车和大树移植机等,经生产实验证明:使用园林机具,不仅明显地提高工效,缩短工期,不误季节,加速了园林绿化建设的进程,而且减轻园林工人劳动强度,改善了劳动环境。
