石泉水电站位于汉江石泉县城上游1km陕谷处,坝高65m,库容4.7亿m~3,装机135万kW,1973年12月第一台机组发电,1975年7月土建基本建成,全部机组安装完毕.汉江洪水峰高量大,若下泄19400～20400m~3/s的洪水,其单宽流量可达142.4～156.9m~3/s,鉴于泄洪建筑物单宽流量大,设计上否定了鼻坎挑流和而流消能方式,而在我国水电建设上第一次采用了消力戽消能型式.通过十多年来实际运用,总结其特点和经验十分必要.
