本文概要地叙述了小波变换、小波包理论；利用小波包对KTA50型汽车发动机的振动信号进行分析，证实了小波理论能够对康明斯汽车的发动机信号进行有效的分析和处理，利用小波理论分析汽车发动机的振动信号能够对汽车发动机准确实施故障诊断，为小被包理论在汽车发动机故障诊断领域中的应用提供了例证。
This paper briefly describes the wavelet transform and wavelet packet theory. By using wavelet packet to analyze the vibration signal of KTA50 automobile engine, it is proved that the wavelet theory can effectively analyze and process the Cummins engine’s signal. The wavelet theory is used to analyze the vibration of automobile engine The vibration signal can accurately diagnose the fault of vehicle engine and provide an example for the application of the small package theory in the field of vehicle engine fault diagnosis.
