做大做强正面宣传是新世纪新阶段党和人民群众对新闻单位和新闻工作者提出的新要求,是当前新闻战线实践“三个代表”重要思想、提高党的执政能力、增强舆论引导水平、掌握宣传舆论工作主动权的具体体现。在社会发生深刻变革、人们思想活动空前活跃、信息传播途径日益多样的新形势下,如何把正面宣传真正做大做强?作者认为,正面宣传不仅是一种宣传活动,而且是一种大众传播活动。做大做强正面宣传必须研究和遵循大众传播规律。
