Breast cancer is one of several malignant tumors with high incidence of female malignancies in Tianjin. It is second only to lung cancer, and the incidence rate is increasing continuously. It was 18.24 per 100 000 in the 1980s. It has risen to 24.55/100,000 in the twilight years, and the incidence has increased by nearly 30%.
