由于铌钽的化学性质,只能溶解在氢氟酸、硝酸溶液中,其他无机酸一概不溶液。因此,铌钽分析长期离不开对人体和环境有害的氢氟酸和硝酸,也离不开贵重的铂金器皿。化学分析工作者希望有朝一日找到一种既不用氢氟酸,也不用铂金器皿就能溶解铌钽试样的方法。但过去的努力都没有成功。用硫酸氢钾和浓硫酸溶解试样也试验过,溶解几个小时也不能完成,特别是钽和铌钽合金更是困难。

Therefore, niobium tantalum analysis can not be separated from long-term hydrofluoric acid and nitric acid harmful to the human body and the environment, also can not be separated from expensive platinum ware. Chemical analysts hope someday find a way to dissolve samples of niobium and tantalum without using hydrofluoric acid or platinum. But none of the past efforts have been successful. Dissolved with potassium hydrogen sulfate and concentrated sulfuric acid have also been tested samples, the dissolution can not be completed within a few hours, especially tantalum and niobium tantalum alloys is more difficult.
