报道了温差水热法生长的祖母绿晶体在660 nm激光二极管(LD)抽运下的激光实验结果。根据祖母绿晶体的光学特点和生长情况,加工了长度分别为10.5 mm和3.4 mm的两种激光棒,并分别进行了激光实验。当激光二极管输入功率为2.68 W时,在平凹腔中祖母绿晶体分别实现了2.7 mW和24 mW的731 nm红外激光的自由输出,其中长度3.4 mm激光晶体的光-光转换效率为1.4%,斜率效率为11.9%,激光阈值在0.7 W附近,并分析讨论了效率低的原因。
The laser experimental results of 660 nm laser diode (LD) pumping of emerald crystals grown by thermoelectric thermography were reported. According to the optical characteristics and growth of emerald crystals, two kinds of laser rods with length of 10.5 mm and 3.4 mm were fabricated respectively and laser experiments were carried out respectively. When the input power of the laser diode is 2.68 W, the free output of 731 nm infrared laser of 2.7 mW and 24 mW are respectively achieved in the flat cavity, and the light-to-light conversion efficiency of 3.4 mm length laser crystal is 1.4% , The slope efficiency is 11.9%, the laser threshold is around 0.7 W, and the reason of low efficiency is analyzed and discussed.
