块是一种带缺口的玉石饰品,一般垂挂于耳部,曾广泛盛行于东亚地区的蒙古人群中。东亚地区自距今8000年前的内蒙古敖汉旗兴隆洼文化出现软玉制作的块饰以后,一直到今日东南亚加里曼丹的Kelabit与Keyan—Kenyah族人,依然垂挂着与中国新石器时代相似的玦饰,足足绵延了8000多年①。长江下游的河姆渡文化是东亚地区块饰的重要分布区之一,先民制作和垂挂玉石块的历史也非常久远,至今已有7000年的历史,时间上仅次于东亚最早的兴隆洼文化。因此,
