On April 21, 2012, Guang’an LNG Plant, another key industrial project in Guang’an City, Sichuan Province, was formally put into operation in Xinqiao Chemical Industry Park in Guang’an Economic and Technological Development Zone. Guang’an Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Plant is the first set of 100 × 104m3 / dLNG project of PetroChina. It adopts the internationally advanced single-cycle mixed refrigeration technology. The products are mainly used for peaking motor fuel and city natural gas.
