具有深远历史意义的中共十一届三中全会召开之后,民主党派恢复了活动。1981年12月,民进中央直属安徽省支部成立。1983年1月,在省民进支部和市委统战部的直接领导和帮助下,民进蚌埠市支部正式成立。1988年7月,中国民主促进会蚌埠市委员会正式成立。民进蚌埠市委现有会员200人,主要分布在中学、大学以及医卫、科技各界。中级职称以上的占92％,具有高级职称的占40％以上。近年来,会员中获得全国教育系统先进个人的有2人,省级以上先进的有10人次,市级先进的有82人次。
After the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee with far-reaching historical significance was held, the democratic parties resumed their activities. In December 1981, the branch of the people’s government directly under the Anhui Provincial Government was established. In January 1983, under the direct leadership and assistance of the Provincial People’s Demobilized Branch and the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee, the branch of Bengbu City for People’s Progress was formally established. In July 1988, the Bengbu Committee of China Association for Promoting Democracy was formally established. Bengbu Municipal People’s Progress Commission currently has 200 members, mainly in secondary schools, universities and medical and health care, science and technology. 92% above the intermediate grade, with senior titles accounted for more than 40%. In recent years, there have been 2 members who have obtained the advanced individual of the national education system among the members, 10 people have advanced above the provincial level and 82 people have advanced at the municipal level.
