中国的书画艺术形成了许多优秀传统,其中重要者有三,一是重视书画家全面的文化素养与人格魅力,二是重视艺术语言体系在尽精微与致广大两方面的持续探索,三是重视物质媒介的精益求精。三者构成了中国书画艺术在人、文、物三个方面的完整历史之魂。正因为如此,当我们关注今天的中国书画艺术时,这三个方面是需要倍加注意的。例如,本期[时代人物]介绍的王蘧常老先生,就是一位充分体现了全面文化素养并具有深度人格魅力而对章草作出了重大贡献的书法家;[案边点滴]则侧重于纸张与书画语言的关系,来探讨传统造纸技艺如何在今天获得发扬的问题。
Chinese painting and calligraphy have formed many excellent traditions.
