On the morning of November 5, 2003, Pakistani President Musharraf visited China specially to meet with Liu Limin at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing and happily accepted the straw painting “Long Live Peace” she presented. Liu Limin was the only non-official interviewed by Musharraf during his visit to China. A peasant woman, what exactly did it do, is it worth Musharraf’s special reception at the Diaoyutai State Guest House in Beijing? The peasant woman is also a visiting professor at the Temple College of Fine Arts in the United States. When she walked onto the podium of the college in 2002, an American college student asked: “Ms. Liu, which university did you graduate from?” Liu Limin smiled: “I am a farmer from China.”
