More than 250 delegates from the Commonwealth of Independent States, the United States, Canada, Brazil, France, India and other countries and regions attended the meeting. Meeting received more than 250 abstracts. The group discussed the following topics: formation and evolutionary conditions of sand and weathering crust deposits; new types of sand and weathering crust deposits; new mining processes and ecological consequences of sand and weathering crust deposits; particulate and fine-grained gold deposits; Sand mineralogy.
