明确病因者95例，围产期缺氧性脑损伤、颅内出血39例：中枢神经系统感染及中毒性脑病后遗症17例；先天性颅脑畸形18例（其中透明隔囊肿4例，颅脑穿通畸形、脐肥体发育不良、轻度脑积水及蛛网膜囊肿各3例，顶区脑裂畸形、狭依征各1例）；颅脑外伤、晚发性维生素K缺乏症、苯丙酮尿症各4例；结节硬化、外部脑积水各3例；脑囊虫、濒叶脂肪瘤、甲状分腺功能低下各1例。另外，有高热惊厥史老周例，家族有癫痫病史者36例。
