Japanese are interested in declaring World Heritage. Moreover, it is also possible to borrow the cultural soft power of the country to make the local tourism economy a new growth point and expand business opportunities. However, attentive people can find that in Japan’s list of World Heritage sites, there are no Japanese people who are proud of, and have a very high reputation abroad, the scenic resort of Mount Fuji.
