巍巍大兴安岭,莽莽林海绵延数百公里,呼伦贝尔大草原依山自成、与林相间。30年前,有一首男声独唱《我爱呼伦贝尔大草原》,唱响神州大地,让这里名扬天下。呼伦贝尔市是由内蒙古自治区呼伦贝尔盟撤盟建市而成,市府坐落在原盟府所在地海拉尔市(现已更名为海拉尔区)。自新中国成立以来,这里就是内蒙古重要经济支柱城市之一,也是我国与俄罗斯重要通商口岸之一,还因其工业、矿藏、外贸、林业、牧业、旅游等得天独厚的自然优势,成为一颗令人瞩目的北方明珠,撤盟建市之机,自然成为该市经济腾飞的新起点。
