长期以来,我国科学研究上重复浪费是不乏其例的,生产技术上的地区差和部门差也是比较大的。为什么会出现这种情况呢?这里有很重要的原因,就是科技情报不灵。怎样才能解决情报不灵的问题呢?从当前我国的科技情报工作发展趋势来看,正在从实现专业化情报网的基础上朝着各地区或同系统的联合,广泛开展情报协作的方向发展。近两三年来,已经相继出现了:华东地区六省一市科技情报协作网,华东地区市级24个科技情报协作网,东北地区市级31个科技情报协作网,南方省级15个情报协作网,南方地区市级8个科技情报协作
