数亿年前,这里是汪洋大海,强烈的地壳运动使她变成了今日的地球之巅,茫茫的雪峰冰川不知诱惑了多少人,却不知这里还有难得的河流湖泊、生命和绿色。特殊的地质构造使这里的海拔高差竟在7000米以上,乘车不需多时就可以从寒带走到亚热带,这是大自然中罕见的奇特现象。 然而令人担忧的是,圣洁的地域正面临着自然蜕变和人类污染的侵袭…… 1987年8月,是我第一次走近珠峰。1999年6月我终于走进了珠峰及其保护区,而此行也使我对珠峰保护区有了一个全新认识的机会。
Hundreds of millions of years ago, there was a sea of vast ocean. The intense crustal movement made her the top of the earth today.
