目前,在柴油机上已普遍地采用了20高锡—铝合金轴瓦,对于铝硅合金轴瓦也正在进行试制。这些材料的轴瓦虽然具有较高的承载能力和疲劳强度,但由于硬度较高,切削性能较差,难以获得▽8以上的表面光洁度。因此,在瞬时润滑不良的情况下,容易发生曲轴的拉毛和烧瓦现象。为了改善这种情况,对于20高锡—铝合金轴瓦,必要时在工作表面上须镀一层厚为0.015~0.020毫米的铅一锡合金;对于铝硅合金轴瓦,则必须有合金镀层。该镀层,除能作为磨合缓冲层外,还可以改善轴瓦的顺应性能和抗脏污微粒嵌入的性能,从而减少曲轴
