I. Project Background Low-temperature frost damage is one of the three major disasters that endanger the sustainable and efficient development of Xinjiang’s characteristic forestry and fruit industry. The project investigates the historical disaster data of fruit frost damage and the establishment of the minimum temperature database during the wintering period to clarify the relationship between fruit trees overwintering frost damage and meteorological factors. Combined with low-temperature treatment, the physiological and biochemical characteristics such as plasma membrane permeability and chlorophyll fluorescence parameters in the apricot fruit during freezing injury were studied, and the frost damage classification was conducted to investigate the physiological and biochemical changes of fruit trees during frost damage
